Meet Nolan and Caroline. These were such cute kids. Nolan didn’t really want to have his picture taken, so we bribed him with everything from Popsicles, Play dough, bubblegum, sandbox time. Anything we could think of for him to sit and smile! It worked, most of the time anyway.

We tried to squeeze this shoot in before Christmas, and we worked really hard at getting our side of the job done on time. The kids were so well behaved and so adorable. You might or  might not recognize Mama Lauren in these photos. I took some maternity pictures of her a few months back. Seriously, look at her!! She’s goegeous!! Lauren, you look so tremendously beautiful!!!!

Thanks Bradley’s for allowing me to spend some time with  you for this shoot. It was great catching up with you again and none of it whatsoever seemed like work for me!!!

Merry Christmas!!!

Sara and I and all our little ones, made our way down to Charles Town, WV for Anna’s first photo shoot at the Carriage Inn Bed and Breakfast. Wow, what a beautiful place and a perfect backdrop for pictures. The Inn is absolutely gorgeous and I would highly recommend going there, if you’re looking at getting away from a few days. Donn and Marie are wonderful hosts, and the place really is stunning and full of history.  Check out their website! 

Anna was such a trooper, and AWAKE for most of our shoot. I was sooo surprised and THRILLED she stayed with us so long. We had to cut our time short, because with 5 kids around, well that’s just to be expected. I’m already looking forward to the next time we get together though, it can’t come soon enough!

I really love you Anna. Welcome to the family.

You might recognize her from my website, she’s all over it. Believe me, I didn’t just use her because she’s my BFF..it’s cuz she’s GORGEOUS and the camera loves her! She knows how to work it, and every picture is smoking hot! Even the bad ones……Jealous?! I am!

Anyways, Sara is on her third baby. Yes, I wrote that correctly, her THIRD. She’s only 21! Her and Josh really know how to crank those kids out, huh? Pretty much, the whole time I’ve known her, she’s been pregnant; and she wears it so well. Again……jealous? I am!  But even behind the beauty, behind the cutest pregnant belly ever,  behind that smile, Sara has got the biggest heart of gold. She is honestly one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She’s always been there for me, and has always shown me a silver lining when I couldn’t. We’ve laughed until we cried, cried until we laughed, fought like sisters, and bonded like twins.

Sara Ann Schlotterbeck, you have helped me become a better person with your friendship. You’ve been there with me through alot of valleys, and alot of mountaintops. You’ve made me smile when I most needed it, and have always pushed me when I’ve become stuck. You are one of the kindest, sweetest, genuine, most caring people I know, and I am beyond lucky to call you friend.

Lauren, I wish you the best of luck with your new little arrival and finding balance with both of your hands full now.  You’re gorgeous in so many ways, inside and out.
