For the month of November, I have  been posting on my Facebook and Twitter pages something I’m thankful for each day. A fellow photographer and someone I follow on Twitter, Alex Garza, started it, and I was so inspired, I took the idea and ran with it. Some days have been harder than others, but it’s  been such an eye opener to all the blessings I have in my life. I am overflowing with positive influences, great memories, better friends, sweet photography equipment, and a new outlook on my pessimism. Yes, hard to believe a pessimist could go a whole month thinking of something positive, right? Well, I did. And I could even go another month with it! I won’t post them like this month, but I hope that I have made a habit for myself to think of a blessing in my life each day.

I am writing out all my thankfulness postings for this post. It’s a good reference point to go back to when I’m feeling down on myself or wanting a pity party.

I highly suggest doing this! And it doesn’t even need to be November to actually happen. Try it! Everyday for a month, see if you can stick with it and stay positive!

11-9 – Today I’m thankful for Get Totally Rad’s ‘Grandma’s Tap Shoes’.
11-10 – Today I’m thankful for my blog. It keeps me connected to my clients and fans. Lets me show you what I’ve been working on and hopefully gives you a closer look at my life. 11-11 – Today I’m thankful for the people who dedicate their lives for my freedom.
11-12 – Today I’m thankful for my mom’s pot roast. Cheers to comfort food!
11-13 – Today I’m thankful for Hulu. I don’t have cable and never bought a digital converter box. Hulu is my only connection to the world of television. So I am able to watch the Office without having to wait til it comes out on DVD. Also they just opened up Lost Season 5! Woot Woot! Happy Friday everyone!
11-14 – I forgot to post, but yesterday I was thankful that dreams are just dreams.
11-15 – Today I am thankful for sunshine!
11-16 – Today I’m thankful for Mondays. They are usually family days and that’s always a good thing.
11-17 – Today I’m thankful for the red barn by our development. It makes a good backdrop.
11-18 – Today I’m thankful for emails with subjects Re: Comment made on your post.
11-19 – Today I’m thankful for my mom, she’s the greatest
11-20 – Today I’m thankful for specials at the grocery store. Ya know, those ones where they mark down the food ridiculously low so they can sell it quickly before it goes bad the next day. I really enjoy buying 6 lbs of meat for 7 bucks. And hey, I have a freezer.
11-21 -  I’m thankful for Sara Schlotterbeck….Can’t get a better best friend than her…
11-22 – Oops, I forgot to be thankful on Sunday. Guess my weekend thankfulness will just have to spill over :) Happy Monday everyone!
11-23 – Today I’m thankful for Colin’s ability to make me smile in almost any situation.
11-24 – I’m thankful that Colin didn’t break his fingers when he smashed them in the car door this afternoon. And for Tylenol!!
11-25 – Today I’m thankful for only one store that celebrates Christmas early. That store would be Starbucks and the reason would be their Christmas Blend Coffee.
11-26 – I was too busy stuffing my face yesterday to post my thankfulness…but I was soo thankful I was too busy stuffing my face to post yesterday:)
11-27 – Today I am thankful I am not crazy or cheap enough to go out shopping on Black Friday. Kudos to those brave enough :) Merry Christmas everyone!
11-28 – Today I am thankful for this sunny, non windy, photo, and friend filled day :)
11-29 – Today, I’m thankful for the 70 degree weather! Perfect Christmas tree chopping temp!
11-30 – Today I’m thankful that I follow Alex Garza, a fellow photographer, on Twitter. He was the first I read to put the challenge of finding thankfulness out there. Thanks for the challenge. Somedays were harder than others, but it was such an eyeopener of all the blessings in my life.
