It’s been one year since I’ve entered the photography world. And I’d like to just say a quick Happy B-day to my camera. Camera, you’ve been so sweet to me this past year. We didn’t quite understand each other at first, and it took us alot of mistakes and blurry pictures, but I think we’ve come into a very healthy give-n-take relationship. We understand each other now, and know what the other’s need are. Thank you for allowing me to use you to develop and mess up ALOT. Thank you for showing me my mistakes so clearly, and giving me patience to make your product look good. I hope I have done you well; you have me.
I’m looking forward to many more years of working with you. Together, we’ll meet new people in new places. You’ve been there with me every step of the way, even when I wanted to sell you and give it all up. I’m sorry for that, and yes, you were right, we are made for each other. I will never doubt you again. You have given my life a new light.
Thank you for this year, for always being near to my heart, and close to my face.

There is NO way it’s only been a year. I would never have guess that all those AMAZING pictures of my children and all those others were all part of your photography infancy. I seriously had no idea you were so new at this because it sure doesn’t show in your work… you definitely have used your God given talent well. I LOVE YOU ASHLEIGH SCHWINDT….. I am a member of the Antietam Photo Club; but I was not able to make it to the shoot on Saturday. I have been fortunate enough to have the ones that did come share their pictures and Pat shared your blog. It is totally amazing to me that you say you have only been doing this for 1 year. YOU should be very proud of yourself and I guess you are one of those people with just a great knack for photography. Maybe I will get to come to another workshop that you lead.
